To everyone who’s seen their friends list shrink due to what happened yesterday (including me):
That’s not a bad thing. Facebook calls it “friends” as a way to create that emotional reaction you’re feeling. Keep that in mind when you’re on a digital platform and not standing right in front of someone.
Some people call it “the trash taking itself out,” but that’s quite harsh. Consider it as further development of the healthy boundaries we all should have. Social media is not an accurate representation of our social lives, and it never will be. Try not to compare it to such a thing.
