Finally finished this show. A big thanks to all my friends who motivated me to pick it back up AND did so without any spoilers. I don’t know how I was able to avoid them on social media too, but I was completely in the dark on the last 3 seasons, and it was well worth it.
I’ve watched this show with my hubby since it started 15 years ago, even in Germany when we were sometimes getting episodes in a not so legal way. I gotta say, it was a beautiful story arc, and I’m glad to have been along for the ride.
It could be just because I’ve been a fan for so long, or it could be because it’s been on the air for so long, or it could be this show’s connection to X-Files and how much I loved that show. But, the ending was amazing. It felt profound and heartfelt and beautifully heartbreaking. I loved it.
Also, I love how Facebook has a pie as the icon for watching this show. Fans of the show will get it.
